conservation studio specialized on work of art on paper, archival documents and books.
Amandine Camp was first a bookbinder in Paris. She then became a paper and book conservator
with a degree from Paris I Sorbonne and went on to work at the Canadian Center of Architecture
in Montréal and at the National Archives of Ireland, in Dublin. She came back in France to work in
a paper mill and later be honored with the title of « Elève de Maître d’Art » because of it.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤThrough these years of craftsmanship and heritage conservation experiences, Amandine
has built a strong professional skill and expertise in the field of paper. conservation. Her
conservation studio provides services as such as diagnostic, expert assessment, conservation
treatments, treatments reports, in situ intervention. The studio is assured to welcome and keep
your most precious works of art.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤWhat kind of work of art do we work on? Everything made of paper : archival documents,
books, manuscripts, watercolor, pastel, charcoal drawing, etchings, posters, drawings, gouache,
transparent papers, map and plans etc…
ㅤㅤㅤㅤThe studio welcomes also interns from France or abroad. Amandine leads courses and
workshops about paper making and conservation at the university of Avignon.
